Therapeutic workshops are designed to encourage reflection on your personal experience and Give you skills to make positive changes in your life

Dr. Mike poses thoughtful questions and useful exercises to help you gain new insights and perspectives. The small group format allows you to benefit from hearing questions, feedback, and ideas from others who may be experiencing similar challenges. While our therapeutic workshops may not provide the in-depth, individualized attention that can be found in individual or couples therapy, many people find that the short-term, skills-focused approach can be very helpful.

At INC Therapy, we offer workshops on two of the most common concerns for which people seek therapy: anxiety/stress management and communication issues. Our anxiety management workshop focuses on helping you better understand what anxiety is, how it can be differentiated from stress, and specific concepts and skills aimed at helping you better manage the anxiety you experience.

ANXIETY/STRESS MANAGEMENT WORKSHOP

Most people experience varying degrees of anxiety, from minor situational anxiety to chronic debilitating anxiety. Our anxiety management workshop focuses on helping you better understand what anxiety is and how it can be differentiated from stress. We will present specific concepts and skills aimed at helping you better manage the anxiety you experience.

THE COUPLES COMMUNICATION WORKSHOP IS DESIGNED TO HELP YOU IMPROVE COMMUNICATION WITH YOUR PARTNER BOTH IN AND OUTSIDE OF CONFLICT

You’ll learn strategies for leaning in, validating your partner’s emotions, and nurturing a positive relationship. These skills can help strengthen your relationship, lead to better understanding of each other, and create improved ways to manage conflict in your relationship.
