After earning a master’s degree in Community Counseling from the University of Northern Colorado and a Doctorate in Counseling Psychology from the University of Florida, I got busy putting my skills and education to use helping others. I’ve worked in a variety of settings, including private practice, community agencies, psychiatric hospitals, and university counseling centers.
After over 20 years practicing in various settings, with various populations, providing a variety of services, Dr. Mike started Individual and Couples Therapy to focus on what he does best: providing attentive, high-quality, and collaboratively designed therapy to individuals and couples in our community.
Located in beautiful downtown Colorado Springs, right above the Rocky Mountains Motorcycle Museum, Individual and Couples Therapy offers in-person sessions for local clients, and telehealth sessions for anyone in the states of Colorado and Florida.
What makes Individual and Couples Therapy different? One of the things that sets Dr. Mike apart in our community is his specific training and experience with assessment
and psychological evaluation. What does this mean for you? Individual and Couples Therapy utilizes Dr. Mike’s PhD training and experience to offer therapeutic assessments administered by Dr. Mike, which can help you understand yourself and your stuck points more thoroughly and help therapy move in a more informed and focused direction.
